My Finished Decca

Here is a shot of my finished guitar. I learned a lot about how to sunburst a guitar.
Check out some more shots of my Decca.

I recently spent many hours in the garage revamping an old Decca guitar from the 60's. This is a short look at what went into bringing this guitar back to life.

Background

I bought a cheap acoustic guitar off eBay. It is a piece! I tried to make it playable, but nothing could help. So, I started looking at electric guitars. Pawn shops. Garage sales. And of course, eBay. I am a eBay junkie.

It's all in the search. Hours spent analizing each guitar. I would search through everything to find the cheapest/best deal.

One day I found it. Old guitar needing TLC. From the image I could see it had what I wanted and that it needed help. Lot's of help. The guitar was fully painted black and yellow. A very Very poor job. I paid $28 dollars for it and shipping cost half that. When I got the guitar I immediately started taking it apart.
